Salvation Prayer

Jesus died on the cross as payment or penalty for our sins, and then He returned to heaven to prepare a place for you.

“God showed His love for us when He sent His only Son into the world to give us life. Real love isn’t our love for God but His love for us. God sent His Son to be the sacrifice by which our sins are forgiven.” (1 John 4:9-10)

Jesus said, “Here I stand at the door of your heart and knock. If you hear my voice and open your heart, I will come in and fellowship with you.”(Revelation 3:20)

How do we receive this eternal inheritance? The Bible says that if you believe in God’s only begotten Son, Jesus, you will have this special promise of God:

“For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved (have eternal life).” (Romans 10:9)

“God offers us the gift of eternal life when we believe. We cannot earn it and do not deserve it.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)

“FOR ALL HAVE SINNED; ALL FALL SHORT OF GOD’S GLORIOUS STANDARD…For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 3:23, 6:23)

“Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus tobecome the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
